HDD block storage is cost-effective and ideal for archival, backups, and workloads that don't require high IOPS. NVMe block storage offers significantly higher performance with up to 100k IOPS, making it ideal for databases, high-traffic applications, and latency-sensitive workloads.

Block storage volumes are designed for single-instance attachment to ensure data integrity. However, you can detach a volume from one VPS and attach it to another instantly without data loss.

You can resize volumes directly from the control panel without detaching them. Expansion is instant, but you'll need to extend the filesystem within your VPS to use the additional space. Shrinking volumes is not supported.

All block storage volumes use Ceph with triple replication. If a disk fails, Ceph automatically rebuilds the data from the remaining replicas to a healthy disk. Your data remains accessible throughout this process with no intervention required.

Direct volume migration between data centers is not currently supported.

We're rolling out HDD block storage location by location to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Singapore is our first location, with more regions coming soon based on demand.

Standard HDD volumes support up to 10TB, and NVMe volumes support up to 1TB. For larger requirements, contact our sales team for custom configurations up to 50TB.
